FESTIVAL | OCTOBER '22

THE 34TH ANNUAL NEW YORK LGBTQ+ FILM FESTIVAL

My role during the festival becomes significantly more managerial. We worked with Ogilvy who created the festival branding and delivered it to us. I managed five staff and one intern: Publications Manager, Community Outreach Manager, Social Media Manager, Publications/Marketing Assistant, Paid Ads Manager, and our Marketing Intern.

I designed some ad hoc assets for various social needs, but I was primarily in a supervisory role during the festival - directing my team and ensuring they're on track with their responsibilities and to provide high-level strategic guidance and creative feedback to guide brand decisions.

Involved hiring, vetting, and coordinating photographers and videographers - both paid and professional. As well as creating a comprehensive paid ads strategy with our Paid Ads Manager and using that strategy to design graphics and write copy.
